September 24 : Garden Tour at Queen Victoria

Fall – arguably the most beautiful season in Cape May – has arrived in earnest, and the weather has been oh-so-cooperative. Today promises to be another beauty – perfect for a stroll through the gardens at one of Cape May’s finest bed and breakfast inns, the Queen Victoria. This is a self-guided tour co-sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts & Humanities (MAC), and you can pick up a ticket for $7 at the information booth on the Washington Street Mall. From there it’s just a short stroll down to the exquisite Queen Victorian (and if you can ever arrange to stay there, you absolutely should). You will receive a booklet with your ticket, explaining all the plants in the gardens, and you can tour today between 11am-3pm. And maybe it will inspire you to work on your submission for MAC’s Scarecrow Alley at the Physick Estate, which starts on October 5th….contact MAC (www.capemaymac.org) or the Queen Victoria (www.queenvictoria.com) for more information.
