Christmas Tree Lighting at Rotary Bandstand

Oh, Christmas Tree – tonight is your night. If Cape May is idyllic in the summer, it’s downright magical this time of year, and the annual Christmas tree lighting at the Rotary Park bandstand is the official harbinger of the season. The city-sponsored festivities get underway at 6:30pm with a reading of “T’was The Night Before Christmas,” as well as caroling with the Cape Harmonaires, and even a visit from Santa. So bundle up, fill your travel mug with hot chocolate (or, you know, something else to keep you warm), and leave your bah-humbugs at home – Christmas starts tonight, ready or not.
